Alan is the principal of Alan K. Seabrook Law Corporation, a Personal Law Corporation. He is a graduate of Simon Fraser University with a degree in Honours Economics and Commerce and, in 1977, of the Faculty of Law, University of British Columbia. After his call to the bar of British Columbia in 1978 he practiced law in Langley until 1985 when he opened his law office in North Delta which has continued at the same location to this date. Alan has acted for clients in the Provincial Court, the Supreme Court, and the Court of Appeal of British Columbia as well as before various administrative tribunals and in arbitration matters. His employment experience prior to becoming a lawyer included the management of a retail grocery store and employment with a national trust company involving the administration of estates and trusts and the management of investment accounts. His preferred areas of practice are real estate matters including purchases and sales of residential and commercial real estate, mortgages, leases, Wills, estates, committeeships, powers of attorney and representation agreements, estate planning, corporate and business matters including the preparation of commercial agreements and the purchase and sale of businesses.

Sharon has been Alan’s legal assistant for more than 20 years and has extensive knowledge of the requirements to prepare and register documents for real estate purchases and sales, mortgages, leases and other charges. She also prepares and registers documents for the incorporation of companies, the annual filings for companies, and for Wills, representation agreements, enduring powers of attorney, estates and court proceedings.
